Allow the wax to melt evenly across the top during the first burn to prevent tunnelling
Trim the wick to about 5 millimetres before each use to maintain a clean, steady burn
Do not burn the candle for more than four hours at a time
Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Allow the wax to fully cool and solidify before relighting
Once finished, clean out the jar and repurpose or recycle it as desired
